Helpful Make up Tips For Monsoon

Every weather brings its own advantages and disadvantages with it. Like in winters we love to have hot tea coffee but at the same time we are worried about our dry skin. In summers we are often surrounded by the worries of sun tan and the darkened dull skin. Similarly the monsoon brings its own plus points and the negative aspects too. The common fact of worry for girls is how to protecttheir make up in rains as it is feared by all of us that the makeup washes away even with the few drops.

Here we tell you some make up tips that will help you protect your make up.

Avoid thick make up : The mantra of a good make up in monsoon is “ Less make up, less trouble”. So whenever you are applying some make up in rainy season, make sure that it is not too heavy or too thick. The thick or the multi layered make up washes away very soon. The light and subtle make-up will make you look beautiful naturally and will also keep away the fear of getting washed off. Also in the rainy season try to have cosmetics which are waterproof. The waterproof cosmetics are easily available in the market these days. You may find a range of waterproof mascara, eye liners, waterproof foundation and lipsticks. One should opt for such waterproof make up kit in monsoon.

Avoid the use of foundation : As I said earlier, the less is a good option when it comes to makeup tips of monsoon. So another important point to take care of is that do not use foundation until it is very necessary. Even if you think applying foundation is necessary to conceal some dark patches on your skin then use the foundation itself as a concealer. The good option will be to apply the face powder. This powder helps you to remove the unnecessary oiliness off your face. Also the pressed powder should not be used during the rainy season. In case of eye shadows, if you have got cream eye shadows then keep them aside for some other time. In monsoon use the powdered eye shadows. You may apply the light shades of pink and brown colours as they look quite natural and are also easy to maintain.

Using the blush: The blush looks good only when it is applied in a very natural manner. During monsoon you will have to take care of this fact. Always apply the blush with a light hand. Else it will lokk like a dark patch on your face. The cream blushers will be a good choice during the monsoons. The cream blushers are water-friendly and so they do not get spoiled with few showers. In case of a wet face, you will have to just pat it with a tissue. It is again to be taken care of that the colours should be according to your skin tone.
