Draping a Saree – Indian and Pakistani Fashions

For women whose color complexion is not fair or wheatish (paled) skin, must buy and wear sarees which are darker in color as compared to their complexion. Like women can wear darker shades of brown, maroon, black, dark pink, dark violet etc. Wearing attire darken than the complexion helps women to look fairer as the darker shades create a contrast between the attire and skin complexion. However, if your color complexion is fair, then go for vibrant colors like green and blue and light pink etc. Selecting the right color of the saree maters a lot since a color not suiting you might destroy the whole look.

Material of saris:

Material plays very important role while planning to buy a saree. To name some materials chiffon and Georgette are very common however there are other materials as well. Chiffon and Georgette can be considered by the women having some extra pounds. Mysore silk saree also helps heavier women to look slimmer. Slim women can consider Tussar, cotton, organza etc as options since these materials compliments their body at the best. So while choosing the saree, select the right material. For me, chiffon or silk is the best because it makes your figure look very elegant and nice.

Considering Borders:

One of the important features of saree is its border. Borders add to the look of the attire. Women with a good height may consider wearing broad border as they make the wearer look shorter. Therefore while selecting the borders for the saree women should consider their height. Longer the height broader the borders you can wear and for ladies having shorter height it is recommended to select and wear saree with thin borders as it will make you look taller.

Prints:

If you to look flashy or to be highlighted in the party or on any occasion than wear bigger prints. Bigger prints are very attractive and flashy when draped on the saree. On the other hand small prints if designed in attractive textures make you look pretty and elegant. With print saree blouse is also important in your overall appearance and here stitching matter a lot
